Salut French Riders

Has anyone upgraded to progressive springs, front and rear on their Gladius?

Secondly, which manufacturer do you recommend?

What were the improvements to the overall ride, if any?

Or.....

Do you recommend just putting better fork oil into the suspension shafts?

Tks...Ride Safe

PS: I'm a non-French speaker so please reply in English. Tks...

I changed the rear shock absorber for an EMC one in autumn.

With the standard front spring and fork oil and the EMC shock absorber, I felt as if the front and rear of the bike were not responding the same way, as if the front was unusually soft. That's why I changed the fork oil for a more viscous one (15W instead of 10W).

Overall, the suspension is harder (on bad roads, you feel the bumps in your arms) and the bike tends to be more stable in high speed curves. It is more comfortable when riding with a passenger or heavily loaded. With the new front oil, the bike tends to lean a bit less when braking.
