Hi Riders
I just want to put out a new thread as it seems there is no real relevant information on the pros and cons of a damper on a Gladius for street use.
Reading around the internet it seems that it's mostly used or you get the best out of it on roads that are as not so smooth as a track. Ninety-nine per cent of riders are on the road so let's just have information on that side of it, forget about track.
Here in the Philippines the roads go from cement, asphalt, cement, asphalt etc in all different types of repair and consistency. There are no true road surfaces here. There are also many humps and bumps, and holes of various sizes that any front wheel could disappear into.
After reading various manufacturer sites they do specify mostly for roads use and for the reasons I outlined just above.
So if there's anyone out there with REAL time experience, please give it up.
